instead of the farmer’s market, this morning we thought we’d head to north mississippi avenue to see what was going on. by a happy accident we found ourselves at a street fair, surrounded by food, kids, dogs, art and everything else a sunny portland afternoon could offer.
there were kids painting an old car, courtesy of CHAP — the childrens’ healing art project,
food of all kinds,
and plenty of other things to look at.
most of the local stores were open as well,
and the meadow had their usual flowers,
salt,
and chocolate on display.
